Saudi Arabia, China Forge Deeper Cultural Collaboration
This newly signed program outlines joint initiatives, including collaborative research projects and the creation of cultural content sourced from each country's national archives. The goal is to provide vital academic backing for historical research and foster cultural exchange between Saudi Arabia and China.
The agreement also details plans to host shared conferences and promote reciprocal visits, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and ideas between cultural researchers from both nations.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Culture highlighted that the deal is intended to strengthen efforts in cultural preservation and research, while enhancing intellectual and cultural bonds between the two countries.
The pact was officially signed by Maha Abdullah Alsenan, Saudi Arabia's Deputy Minister for Research and Cultural Heritage Affairs, and Cheng Wei, Vice President of Beijing International Studies University, as well as Deputy Director of the China-Arab Research Center for Cultural and Tourism Cooperation's joint committee.
